LENS OF KEN ART CLASS
Why are we different?
Beyond art technique, our classes develop creativity, composition, storytelling, and expression through drawing, skills children use in everyday life.
LESSON STRUCTURE
1. Guided Introduction (15–20 minutes)
Students are introduced to the theme, reference images, and a drawing demonstration of the key techniques for the lesson.
2. Creative Practice (Pt.1 ) (10 minutes)
Students first work on a layout in groups, developing their idea and composing a story with their peers, as well as with my guidance and feedback.
2. Creative Practice (Pt.2) (50 minutes)
Students work on their own artwork using their interpretation of the ideas they have composed. This challenges their expression and composition skills.
3. Reflection & Confidence Building (10 minutes)
We discuss progress, ideas, and creative thinking, helping students gain confidence in their own style.
